About Iguazu Bike Tours
Iguazu Bike Tours is a small Puerto Iguazú company run by people who live for cycling: its founding partner started in 2006 and the team works with its own guides. The idea is to see the Misiones rainforest at pedaling pace, with a mountain bike, helmet and gloves included, a safety briefing before setting off, and pickup from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
The best-known ride is the Camino del Yaguareté (Jaguar Road): about 10 km along an internal road of Iguazú National Park to the old Puerto Canoas landing, in roughly 3.5 hours including transfers. You hear the falls but don't see them, and no park ticket is needed. They also offer "Two Countries in One Day", about 30 km with a ferry crossing to Paraguay and lunch at Monday Falls; a demanding 53 km ride to the Brazilian side of the falls; and the Iguazú Challenge, a full day mixing boat and bike around Andresito. Ask them directly for prices and availability.
Local tip
If it's your first rainforest ride, start with the Jaguar Road: it takes half a day and leaves your afternoon free. Bring water, insect repellent and sunscreen.
