# Iguazu.ar > Things to do, where to eat and where to stay in Puerto Iguazú and Iguazú Falls: the Argentine side, the Brazilian side, the rainforest and the Triple Frontier. Places surveyed with open data, compared and chosen by an independent editorial team. Data updated on 2026-10-10. 513 places. Iguazú is the region at the northern tip of Misiones province, Argentina, at the Triple Frontier with Brazil and Paraguay. Its main town is Puerto Iguazú, the gateway to Iguazú National Park, home to Iguazú Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Across the Iguazú River is Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil), with Iguaçu National Park. This guide covers Puerto Iguazú, the National Park, Route 12, Wanda, Puerto Libertad, Puerto Esperanza and Comandante Andresito, plus the main sights on the Brazilian side. Every place page has a Markdown version (same URL ending in .md). Full version with every place: https://iguazu.ar/en/llms-full.txt. The Devil's Throat has been closed since 3 August 2026 because of river floods, so check whether it has reopened before you go. Buy your ticket online on the official website. - [Iguazú Falls from Brazil: how to cross to Foz and what to see in half a day](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/iguazu-falls-brazilian-side/): From Puerto Iguazú you cross to Foz do Iguaçu over the Tancredo Neves bridge: Argentines with a valid physical DNI card (the digital one is not accepted) and foreigners with a passport. Iguaçu National Park takes half a day and gives you the panoramic view of the falls; Parque das Aves is on the same road. Tickets are paid in Brazilian reais. - [Things to do in Puerto Iguazú beyond the Falls](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/things-to-do-in-puerto-iguazu/): Besides the Falls, in Puerto Iguazú you can watch the sunset at the Triple Frontier landmark, visit the Güirá Oga wildlife refuge, see La Aripuca and the Hummingbird Garden, walk through La Feirinha market and visit Mbyá Guaraní communities in the Iriapú Reserve by appointment. Almost everything is on Route 12, on the way to the National Park, or downtown. - [Rainforest around Iguazú: Wanda, Urugua-í and Andresito](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/rainforest-around-iguazu/): Beyond Puerto Iguazú there is rainforest for several days: the Wanda mines, about 50 km down Route 12; Urugua-í Provincial Park, on Provincial Route 19 towards Andresito; and rainforest lodges such as Yacutinga, which only host guests with a booking. A car helps, and leave with fuel, water and insect repellent. - [Iguazú in 3 days: both sides of the Falls and Puerto Iguazú](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/iguazu-in-3-days/): With three days: day one, the Argentine side of the Falls (Upper and Lower circuits and, if open, the Devil's Throat); day two, the Brazilian side and Parque das Aves; day three, Güirá Oga and La Aripuca in the morning and the Triple Frontier landmark at sunset. After heavy rain, swap the order: floods can close sections. - [Iguazú in 5 days: the Falls, rainforest, Wanda and the Triple Frontier](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/iguazu-in-5-days/): With five days: day one, the Argentine side of the Falls; day two, the Brazilian side and Parque das Aves; day three, the Macuco Trail to Arrechea Falls (a second-day park ticket is discounted); day four, the Wanda mines; and day five, Güirá Oga, La Aripuca and sunset at the Triple Frontier landmark. Check first whether the Devil's Throat has reopened. - [Iguazú in 7 days: the Falls, Itaipu and the Andresito rainforest](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/iguazu-in-7-days/): With seven days: follow the five-day itinerary (both sides of the Falls, the Macuco Trail, Wanda and Puerto Iguazú) and add Itaipu on the Brazilian side plus a rainforest day at Urugua-í Provincial Park, which was opening Wednesday to Sunday in late 2025. If you can stay longer, Yacutinga Lodge, near Andresito, hosts guests with a booking and runs its own transfer. - [Getting to Puerto Iguazú and to the Falls](https://iguazu.ar/en/guides/getting-to-iguazu/): Puerto Iguazú is served by Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport, about 20 km from downtown by road. Buses leave the town's bus terminal for Iguazú National Park every 20 minutes, and the ride takes about half an hour. For the Brazilian side you cross the Tancredo Neves bridge with a valid DNI card or passport. ## Activities and tours - [Full Moon Walk in Iguazú National Park](https://iguazu.ar/en/activities/paseo-luna-llena/): A guided night walk on the falls walkways by moonlight, with no artificial lighting.
